Response to... Derek Sivers: Weird, or just different?

The idea that different cultures take the same idea and put a different spin on it is interesting. For example, in the United States the streets have names whereas in Japan the streets do not have names, instead the blocks are numbered. So, what may be right in one country might not be true in another country.
